What is an Award Centre and how do I join one?
Young people participating in the Award do so with through our network of accredited youth serving organizations (called Award Centers) such as schools, Girl Guides and Scouts to name a few. Each Award Centre is staffed with Adult mentors who are trained by Award Canada to deliver our learning framework while supporting participants throughout their entire Award experience.

Contact your school to see if they are an Award Centre. If you're a member of Scouts, Girl Guides, or the Ismaili community, check with them to see if they offer the Award program. If none of these options fit, register with our Virtual Award Centres here today!

To find an Award Centre near you, consider the following options:
- Are you a student? Check if your school is an Award Centre! If they are, you can register through your school.
- Are you a member of Girl Guides, Scouts, or the Ismaili community? If so, reach out to your group to see if they’re an Award Centre and register with them!
- Do you belong to a local community group? Community organizations, faith-based groups, and clubs are also Award Centres. If you are an existing member of any, check with your group to see if they offer the Award.
- Not sure where to register? No problem! If none of the above are an option for you, you can still participate through our Virtual Award Centre (VAC). The VAC allows you to complete your Award with full support from our team, no matter where you live.
